Applying For Your Licence

From course to licence

Completing the course is the training step. You then apply to the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) for the dangerous goods driver licence itself. As a general guide, the application involves:

  1. Complete the TLILIC0001 training course with a registered training organisation.
  2. Provide evidence of medical fitness to drive, using the required medical assessment.
  3. Supply a recent driving history record from Transport for NSW (formerly the RMS).
  4. Provide identification and any documents the EPA requests with your application.
  5. Lodge your application with the NSW EPA and pay the licensing fee that applies at the time.
